About me
My name is James Gooding. I'm located in South West London and am a psychodynamic counsellor/therapist and a member of the BACP and NCS. I've worked in the mental health sector for several years including Priory Group, Victim Support and BUPA while training as a therapist for 6 years. I have a BSc in Psychology and Counselling and a MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling.
My Approach
I can provide short or long term counselling and psychotherapy. Sessions are once a week, lasting for 50 minutes and can be ether online or face to face. I work with any gender and adults of all ages.

Psychodynamic counselling is a way to explore our past and explore how some effects of past traumas can often surface in our present lives. It is with this therapy that I look to examine patterns of behaviours that might impact your day-to-day life, in order to try and grow better self-awareness and a deeper introspection.
